The process of falling asleep and entering a dream state inspired me to create this progressive melodic techno track. It is simple in its structure but complex in the design and evolution of every element it contains.
The brain takes details from our perception and creates our personal reality based on previous observations and its own creations. This process inspired me to create a track that has complex synthetic sounds that are modeled after simple sounds found in nature.
Using all the inputs from our senses and all memories of previous experiences, the brain creates awareness to make sense of it all. Despite the chaotic nature of the inputs, the brain is able to create the illusion of cohesion between apparently disconnected elements.
After perception and awareness, consciousness comes as a result of an attempt to make sense of it all and give it some meaning. This track expresses the complexity of consciousness, and the mystery and beauty of being able to experience it.
The mind constructs the very fabric of our reality and makes it all that there is and ever will be. Using information from perception, and adding the bias of awareness and consciousness, the brain starts to create reality by first developing a simple construct and adding estimations to it to try to figure out reality.
